Nino Manfredi
NOTIZIA PUBBLICATA IL 21 November 2014

November 12 was introduced "Non lasciare Roma," a new song played by Nino Manfredi (the great Roman actor who died ten years ago) that will become the soundtrack of the photographic exhibition "Nino! Tribute to Nino Manfredi", which will open tomorrow in the capital, at Palazzo Braschi, open until January 6.

"Non lasciare Roma" written by Mario Panzeri, Franco Fasano, Gianfranco Grottoli and Andrea Vaschetti, was presented to Manfredi in December 1997 by Claudio Zitti (musician and producer): the actor wanted to record it, but the incision remained unpublished for over fifteen years. The realization of the project was made possible thanks to the support provided by Gianna Bigazzi, widow of the great author and producer Giancarlo Bigazzi.

Nino Manfredi famous for being both an actor and a singer, not only on the stage, but also in musical comedies of Garinei and Giovannini "Un trapezio per Lysistrata" (1958) and "Rugantino" (1962)... He published twenty 45s, including the hit "Tanto pe 'cantà" (1970), and two albums ("Trastevere" and "Nino Manfredi", 1971 and 1972), in addition to the soundtrack of his film directorial debut, "Per grazia ricevuta" first soundtrack signed by Guido and Maurizio De Angelis, in which he sings "Me pizzica, Me mozzica" and "Viva Sant'Eusebio".
