50 YEARS OF ROSE ROSSE

50 years ago I tried Rose Rosse with little success, at the time I was eighteen and when my producer took it to Milan it was rejected because the record companies said "How does a boy of eighteen bring red roses to a girl? At that age you go to the meadows, you run, you laugh ... "
My producer, along with the great Giancarlo Bigazzi who wrote it with Totò Savio, decided to take off the song and propose it to some singers who, for one reason or another, refused.
So it was that it came back to me as side B of the record. After a while we decided, to change, to propose Rose Rosse during the show "Senza rete".
Two days later, in CGD, arrived 170,000 requests for records and the record sold one million and 800 thousand copies.
I'm here now thanks to that song and to Giancarlo Bigazzi.
