NATIONAL AWARD "GIANCARLO BIGAZZI"
"The wizard of the Italian Song"

Singing contest open to songwriters and singers.

The award, dedicated to the maestro Giancarlo Bigazzi, (who died prematurely in January 2012), author of over forty major hit records, now in its third edition will be held on Saturday 25 and Sunday, June 26, 2016.
The selections will be held June 25 at the Concert Hall of the "Patarack" Porcari, closed doors as usual will lead competitors from all over Italy, or to mere presence of the singers, the jury and the organizers, while the final open to the public, will be held Sunday, June 26 at 21.30, at the Teatro "Nieri" Ponte a Moriano
The choice of location fell on the Bridge Theatre Moriano, because, the students of classes 5 Lindlar, during the school year have achieved thanks to the maestro Moreno Botti, an educational project dedicated to the life and compositions of Maestro Giancarlo Bigazzi. Tant 'is that during the final evening, a choir made up of young students of the fifth circle, will perform (out of competition) with a musical tribute, performing a medley of the greatest successes of the teacher.

The competition this year will also see the participation of well-known names from the entertainment world, both as jurors of guests. The jury is in fact as follows:
The Maestro Carlo Bernini, conductor, pianist, collaborator of Andrea Bocelli, as well as manager of the international group The Divas and music director of the Teatro del Silenzio Lajatico; Gianna Bigazzi, the owner and his son John of the record company GMMusic, Marco Falagiani, "Oscar" for best soundtrack for the film "Mediterraneo" by Gabriele Salvatores and author of countless Sanremo songs, Maestro Moreno Botti trumpet player, teacher music and collaborator of the singer Toto Cutugno, Agent Performance (name to be decided), holder "Remo Santini's Daily" the Nation ", editors of Lucca; Ilaria Isolabella, Qui Radio speaker.

Columnist and vocal coach the maestro Fabio Ceccanti, professor of singing, talent scout, composer, pianist.
