Friday, October 24, GB Music releases the new video clip of Ti Pretendo performed by Silvia Mezzanotte. This new chapter enriches the recording project Giancarlo Bigazzi in Lounge, following the previous re-releases of Un Colpo al Cuore sung by Franco Simone and Self Control with the voice of Nicole Magolie, published in 2024. A common feature is the arrangements by Nerio Poggi (aka Papik), who rewrites these evergreens in a swing, jazz, orchestra, and lounge style. Artistic direction by Franco Fasano and record production by Giovanni Bigazzi.

The video clip, filmed entirely in Rome, is directed by Andrea Centrella and stars actress Maria Elvira Lo Torto. An interesting fact: the video clip contains a reference to the original 1989 vinyl of Cosa resterà degli anni '80 containing the track Ti pretendo, from the Bigazzi family archive.

The entire series of releases will ultimately be collected on an album that will also be available on vinyl.

The aim of the project is to shed new light on one of the most important repertoires in Italian music literature. Bigazzi's anthology includes an incredible number of hits: “My intention, and that of GB Music as a whole,” says Giovanni Bigazzi, “is to raise awareness and rediscover Giancarlo's work from a different perspective, bringing together generations, not only younger ones but also listeners who grew up with his songs.”
