Apart from the two Festival victories, which represented great work with him and the resulting popularity...the most important memory for me is the human side of Giancarlo.
He always had a very protective attitude towards me. He was an extremely demanding professional, that's true... but even in the less brilliant moments of my career, he always pushed me not to give up, putting me forward in the most diverse contexts to give me opportunities, loving me like a son.
